01The street
The street is the street. The kitchen is the kitchen.
Listing photos can flatter. A walk is harder to dress up: every home here is filmed by its host, on site, before it can take a booking.
Start outside.
The host begins at the front door, where their phone can get a clear fix. That location is checked against where the home is on Fab Rent Homes.
Every room you'd rent.
They film slowly, room by room, and the phone's location keeps being checked for the whole walk. Only the finished walkthrough is shown — never their route.
Private rooms are cut.
Anything private — an office, a closet, a neighbour's door — is marked and cut before anyone else sees the walkthrough. Not blurred. Cut.
Stitched, not invented.
The footage becomes a 3D walkthrough you can explore. We stabilise, crop and compress it. We never add rooms, furniture, windows or views that weren't filmed.
Then, and only then, bookings.
Guests can't book a home until its walk is verified. No walk, no dates.
Location checks are a signal that the walk happened here. They are not proof against every trick, and they are not a legal record.
02The front door
The math fits on a napkin.
The nightly rate is the host's. Fab Rent Homes adds a guest network fee on top, as its own line, and you see the total for your dates before you pay.
Deposit arrangements, payment processing and any applicable taxes are separate considerations.

03The keys
A deposit, not a down payment.
Each home sets a deposit. It's separate from your stay charge and isn't collected when you pay. Here is everything that can happen to it, in order.

If there's a claim
You get a say
Accept it, or dispute it. A dispute goes to an arbiter, not to the host, and a claim can never be more than the deposit.
You pay the host's business. Directly.
Hosts here list as businesses, each with its own Stripe account. Your stay is charged by that business: its name on your statement, its home, its word. The guest network fee is Fab Rent Homes' part of that same charge.

04Lights on
Your good name comes with you.
A Trust Passport is your record here: the same one whether you're renting a home or hosting one, and it builds with every stay.
- Built from stays booked here: completed stays, reviews written after checkout, claims raised against a deposit.
- A review can't be written by someone who wasn't on the booking, and it can't be removed by the person it's about.
- Take it with you. Download your history as a signed file; anyone you give it to can check nothing was altered.
It's a record of activity here, not a background check.
