What we collect to run fab.rent, why, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it.

These terms are a pre-launch draft. Operator details and the governing jurisdiction must be finalized and reviewed before paid stays can open. No booking is available while these details contain placeholders.
What we collect
Account details: your email address and the name you choose. Booking details: dates, guests, prices and messages. Host details: listing content, walkthrough recordings and the location they were recorded at, and your business's name and payment account status from our payment processor. Identity checks, when you choose to verify, are run by our processor; we receive the result, not your documents.
Technical details: basic logs of requests to our servers, used for security and to keep the service running. We don't sell your information or use advertising trackers.
Who we share it with
The other side of your stay: a host sees a guest's name, Trust Passport and booking; a guest sees the host's name, business name and listing, and the address after a stay is confirmed.
Service providers who run parts of fab.rent for us: payment processing, email delivery, hosting, database and file storage. They may use it only to provide their service.
Authorities, when the law requires it.
Your choices
You can export your Trust Passport, correct your profile, and ask us for a copy of your information or to delete your account. Some records, like completed bookings and payments, we keep as long as the law requires.
